Privacy Policy
Pal Itch is a one-tap app for close friends: you send a "gong" (a push notification with a sound) to a friend, and you can tell friends what you're free for. This policy explains what we store, why, and how to delete it.

What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking across other apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
- No location data, no contacts upload, no chats and no message history — the only text is an optional one-line pager note attached to a gong.
- Your status is visible only to friends who accepted your request, never publicly.
Where data is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication, Cloud Messaging) on Google's infrastructure. Analytics and crash reports are processed by Google Firebase under Google's terms.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists, with one exception: gong history (including pager lines) is deleted automatically 7 days after each gong; a line someone reported is kept for review until the report is handled. When you delete your account everything is removed immediately (see below).
We keep aggregate usage statistics (daily counts with no personal data) indefinitely; they contain nothing that identifies you and are not removed when you delete your account. Per-account activity counters are part of your account and are deleted with it.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, username, friendships, groups you own, your memberships in other groups, statuses, gongs you sent, activity counters, push tokens and your sign-in. Your Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked with Apple at the same time. There is no waiting period.
If you can no longer open the app, email info@mtnt-solutions.com from the address you used and we will delete the account within 14 days.
Children
Pal Itch is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date.
